Ellers er det masse godsaker på lista. Deborah Ann Woll som spiller Jessica i True Blood, Kiefer Sutherland som David i Lost Boys (mitt første vampyrcrush), Alexander Skarsgård som Eric i True Blood - men bare på fjerdeplass:

"3. Ian Somerhalder The Vampire Diaries

Kevin Williamson’s terrific series on the CW network casts Somerhalder (formerly Boone on Lost) as Damon Salvatore, the bad boy vampire in hot pursuit of the woman his brother Stefan (Paul Wesley) loves. Somerhalder deftly balances dangerous and funny without compromising either quality. Says Damon: “I do believe in killing the messenger. Know why? It sends a message.”"

Har ikke sett Shadow of the Vampire (klikk for trailer), men MIML sier at den er utrolig bra. Det er en liksom-dokumentarfilm om hvordan det var å spille inn vampyrklassikeren Nosferatu, og ikke minst at han som spiller Nosferatu faktisk var vampyr, og hvordan de håndterte det.

Ooops. Har ikke sett Dracula heller, og må nok en gang vende meg til MIML (skulle tro det var han som hadde en film - og litteraturblogg med fokus på vampyrsjangeren).

I følge MIML er ikke filmen noe særlig, men den er en klassiker, og la grunnlaget for en masse oppfatninger av hvordan vampyrer er - kappe, hoggtenner, det likbleke utseendet osv. Og var antakelig den filmen som bragte horror til Hollywood.
