Edwards nye Volvo
Her er Edwards nye Volvo! Ferskt snikfotografert i Squamish.
Twifans rapporterer: "We went to straight to the Volvo website and started comparing wheels, tail-lights, spoilers, and colors. After an hour (or two) of dissecting the vehicle from top to bottom we concluded with certainty that Edward's 'Breaking Dawn' Volvo is a S60 R-9 design series.
Now-it's again NOT SILVER, but in my opinion ,after custom building both a Silver Metallic S60 R9 Volvo and a Saville Grey Metallic S60 R9 Volvo, the later was better. Trust me the darker Volvo was damn sexy!"

"It was my Anne of Green gables vision all over again...."Nineteen-eighteen?" I guessed. "More or less,"she said, nodding. "Some of it is my design, the train, the veil..." She touched the white satin as she spoke. "The lace is vintage. Do you like it?" "It's beautiful. It's just right for him."
-Alice Cullen and Bella Swan, Eclipse, page 614.
"You can start braiding. I want it intricate. The veil goes here, underneath."
-Alice Cullen, Breaking Dawn, page 43.
"My knees shook so badly as she fastened the long line of pearl buttons up my back that the satin quivered in little wavelets down to the floor."
-Bella Swan, Breaking Dawn, page 43.
"Her skin was cream and roses, her eyes were huge with excitement and framed with thick lashes. The narrow sheath of the shimmering white dress flared out subtly at the train almost like an inverted calla lily, but so skillfully that her body looked elegant and graceful..."
-Bella Cullen, Breaking Dawn, page 57.
SMeyers beskrivelse er her.

Breaking Dawnlekkasjer, muligens "lekkasjer"
Sukk.
It’s time
"Bella and Edward get married, there’s some sex, and then a hybrid baby, and then a really lame war which will actually play ever so slightly better on film because, well, someone other than Stephenie Meyer wrote the screenplay.
Having said that, for the faithful, there is still So.Much.Cheese for you to enjoy. Like the wedding toasts. The wedding toasts in Part 1 are perhaps the most cliché and uninspired words you will hear next year. And when delivered by Kellan Lutz, Jesus Christ it’ll be a great time, to go and laugh yourself silly with your friends. Or squeeze their hands from the pain of the fontrum. It really depends on how you react to such things."
"If it were me, because you never know what will end up in editing, I would cut that sh-t out and leave the sex scenes intact. Before that though, if they stay true to the script, Edward and Carlisle have a birds and the bees talk that is supposed to be, I guess, the vampire advice equivalent to human boys and “baseball”. When does a boy think about baseball? Baseball is for bringing you back from the brink. Therefore Edward Cullen’s premature ejaculation = crushing his wife to death when he’s taking her virginity, preventable, according to his father, by thoughts of baseball.
F-cking unintentional comedy gold. Please leave that sh-t in. Please, please, please.
And what’s Kristen Stewart looking forward to? She spoke to Access Hollywood, video is below, about being excited about heading back to work on the blockbuster series, and perhaps some of that has to do with shooting those highly anticipated intimate moments.
There are three of them in total in Part 1 right now. The first is in the water, and they get the business started with a super cringe line, as Bella walks naked into the ocean and looks at the moon and sighs that “it’s beautiful”, to which Edward replies, while looking at her and obviously not the moon...
“Very.”
See, I just laughed out loud writing that."
"Happily though, they dispose of the dialogue quickly and then it’s supposed to be all limbs and writhing and wrapping around each other from the sea to the house and much of it is relayed, rather cleverly actually, in flashback form. After they show the initial hook up from beach to bedroom, we jump to the morning after as Edward is constipated about something and Bella is examining her body. Cut to her memories of the night before, the touching, and his kissing the length of her body, and the clenching, and her head thrown back, and his struggle to, um, think about baseball, and her resulting pleasure, and some furniture gets broken. It actually reads pretty erotic, and if they cut it the way it’s written, it should be even hotter to watch. Even I would enjoy watching it if they stay with that spirit.
She keeps begging for it afterwards, and the two following love scenes are more of the same soft porny vibe which, to be honest, totally impressed me because having blue balled it for 3 straight movies, I thought they would pull that sh-t all over again. On paper though, they appear to be totally going for it. Which means that’s how they’ll shoot it. So you’ll just have to hope they don’t f-ck around with it in the edit suite."
Vampire Sex & spoilers
"Please note there are spoilers below. Some people don’t mind spoilers. Some can’t handle it. Please consider yourself warned. And I’ll give you more warning as we progress. But this is your chance to change the channel.
As I’ve already said, the screenplay is SO MUCH BETTER than the source material. There are the obligatory Twilight cheese moments, sure, but considering that this is adapted from a book that was embarrassingly bad, I’d say the writer did a pretty impressive job, especially with this second part.
I like the tension between Bella and the wolves when she finds out Jacob has attached himself to her baby. She smacks him around. And then his wolf friends try to step in and she smacks them around too and everyone’s all like – oh Bella she’s so strong, roar.
You sappy types will enjoy some tender family moments between Bella and Edward and the child with the dumb name as they come together for the first time. Oh and backtracking for a minute, the movie is supposed to open with some loveness too as Bella “meets” Edward as a vampire and they bump hearts.
K, so after the baby business they head over to the Cottage for what’s described as a “second honeymoon” with notes from the screenwriter that stress that this is to be VAMPIRE SEX and totally different from when they had sex before. Which basically means that they start mashing up against each other without restraint. Especially him. So there are a lot of accelerated motion quick cuts – him on top, then her on top, the camera’s speeding around them, they’re speeding around each other, like porn on 30x, legs and arms are whizzing by, at one point, a wall is smashed; she does it when she’s the aggressor, pinning him like he’s the weaker one, it’s his wrist that breaks the brick in the wall, until he throws her off, but landing on top of her, wildly and when I was reading this I kinda pictured mechanical monkeys but I think the close-ups on the face will make up for that. In between the quick edit speed sex, they’re supposed to zoom in on faces, all lusty and wanton and she puts her hands through his hair a lot.
Time passes.
Hours. Days.
Maybe weeks.
They’re so lost in the f-cking."
"I like how it concludes. Limbs entwined on a chair in front of a fire. Specific instructions that they are not to look like human beings who’ve just had each other. Vampires do it like Victoria Beckham. Don’t mess with the makeup. No redness, no exertion, no flushing, no sweat. And then some pillow talk about how they can’t imagine how any other couple could be hotter and they could out jungle-sex Brad and Angelina. I may have made up the part about Brad and Angelina but that’s the general idea – that Bella and Edward think they’ve won the gold medal in f-cking. Then they f-ck some more. Now I’m told this was the intent. And the actors were all for it. They filmed it with this as their guide. But, well, there’s the issue of the author Meyer and whether or not she’ll agree to how erotic it is in the final edit.
Anyway...
Blah blah blah happy montages.
Ok, here’s where it gets really, really interesting."

You put that in a movie and you get eggs thrown at the screen.
There has to be more to keep the audience. And that’s what the audience will get."

Slik starter historien:
Hero at the Grocery Store
"Christmas stories happen in the most everyday places. I was part of one not long ago at the grocery store. I hope I never forget it, though the memory is bittersweet.
I had been shopping for almost an hour by the time I got to the checkout lines. My two youngest sons were with me, the four-year-old refusing to hold onto the cart, the two-year-old trying to climb out of the basket and jump down to play with his brother. Both got progressively whinier and louder as I tried to keep them under control, so I was looking for the fastest lane possible. I had two choices. In the first line were three customers, and they all had just a few purchases. In the second line was only one man, a harried young father with his own crying baby, but his
cart was overflowing with groceries.
I quickly looked over the three-person line again. The woman in the front was very elderly, white haired and rail thin, and her hands were shaking as she tried unsuccessfully to unlatch her big purse. In the other line, the young father was throwing his food onto the conveyor belt with superhuman speed. I got in line behind him."

The Real Boys of Eclipse.

Endelig! The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide kommer i april 2011
Her er pressemeldingen fra Little, Brown:
"NEW YORK, NY (October 6, 2010) — Little, Brown Books for Young Readers, a division of Hachette Book Group, has announced today at the Frankfurt Book Fair that it will release The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide by Stephenie Meyer on April 12, 2011. This definitive encyclopedic reference to the Twilight Saga is the only official guide and is full color throughout, including nearly 100 full-color illustrations and photographs. The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide will be released in hardcover for $24.99 and also be available as an e-book."
"The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide provides readers with exclusive new material and everything they need to further explore the unforgettable world Stephenie Meyer created in Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn and The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner. The Guide also includes character profiles, outtakes, a conversation with Meyer, genealogical charts, maps, extensive cross-references, and much more. Originally announced as "The Official Guide," The Twilight Saga: The Official Illustrated Guide includes illustrations from several artists, including Young Kim, the illustrator behind the #1 New York Times bestselling Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1."
""I'm always amazed at how many in-depth questions my readers have about my characters and the world within the Twilight Saga," said Stephenie Meyer. "With The Official Illustrated Guide, I hoped we could incorporate as many details as possible, including character histories, like Alice's back story. I'm thrilled with the different artistic interpretations done by Young Kim and the other talented illustrators, including Bella's wedding dress. I hope the fans feel it was worth the wait!""
"In five years, Stephenie Meyer has become a worldwide publishing phenomenon. The Twilight Saga's translation rights have been sold in nearly 50 countries and 116 million copies have been sold worldwide..."

Her er verdens mest pedagogiske video - som forteller oss at Stephenie Meyer ikke bare toppet fjorårets bestselgerliste med New Moon, men reddet en industri i motgang.
Via Examiner.com.
Mer spennende er at Examiner.com samtidig forteller at Twilightsagaen er på lista over "most challenged books" borte hos den amerikanske bibliotekforeningen, nærmere bestemt deres Office for Intellectual Freedom.
Her er begrunnelsen:
1. Seksuelt innhold.

Personlig flirte jeg i skjegget av at Al Qaeda avlyste et terrorangrep da de hørte at Stephenie Meyer skulle besøke det lokale kjøpesenteret fordi "...Al Qaeda simply could not risk harming the woman who captured the alienation and sexual tension of adolesence so beautifully in her book series".

Time skriver:
"In 2005, rookie author Stephenie Meyer wrote a book about vampires in just a few months. Faster than she'd written it, Twilight leapt from bookshelves and the world met Bella, Edward and the rest of the Cullen clan. Told from Bella's point of view, Twilight is the story of a star-crossed couple who cannot consummate their romance because Bella's love, Edward, is a vampire. Meyer followed her breakthrough with three sequels in the next three years, all of which became gigantic bestsellers.
In 2008, she tried something different (sort of) by retelling the events of the first books, only from Edward's point of view. Sooner than you can say "glittering vampire," 12 unfinished chapters from the new manuscript, Midnight Sun, appeared on the Internet. "I think it is important for everybody to understand that what happened was a huge violation of my rights as an author, not to mention me as a human being," Meyer said in a message to fans. Rather than punish her loyal following, Meyer posted her entire unfinished Midnight Sun draft on her website. The only catch is that it's unprintable — better bring an e-reader."

I kostyme. Interessant! Anbefales! Masse back-story. Inkludert teltscenen. Metaforer. Bevegelse.
Sove. Mer i morgen.

Q: Bree only appears in a couple pages of Eclipse. What was it about the character that made you want to explore her story further?
A: In the beginning, I wasn’t fascinated specifically by Bree — it was the newborns in general. While I was writing Eclipse, there was a lot going on behind the scenes, of course, things Bella didn’t know about. Because I was focused on Bella, I couldn’t delve too deeply into the newborns’ story, however, there was always in my mind a general idea of what they were up to. I had to think about that while I was pacing the plot: Bella is at this point, the newborns are doing this. To keep it all straight, eventually I made a calendar of the months of May and June — which is all Eclipse deals with — and wrote down on each square what was going on with Bella that day and what was happening in Seattle. So the story of the newborns was always a big part of the story of Eclipse. And it made me kind of sad that there was no way to express any of that in the book.
Bree is the only newborn mentioned by name in Eclipse, the only newborn who has contact with the Cullens (aside from being killed by them), and the only newborn who encounters the Volturi in the clearing. She lives the longest, so she is the narrator who can tell the full story. She was a natural choice to chronicle the story of the newborns. Once I started writing from her perspective, she really came alive. So much so that, as the inevitable end got closer, it was really depressing going ahead. It was harder for me to kill Bree than any other fiction character I’ve ever killed, even though I was killing her for the second time. (Before Bree, the saddest was Walter in The Host.)"
Decisions, decisions...

Via Twicrack.
"Q: Why do you feel it is important for people to read Bree’s story prior to the release of the Eclipse movie?
A: Eclipse is told from only Bella’s perspective. That has some limitations; when there is so much going on off-stage (so to speak), it leaves a lot of mysteries. The films have the advantage of seeing the story from outside of Bella’s head. The viewer can see things — like the wolves hunting Victoria in New Moon— that the reader only gets hints of. Of all the Twilight books, Eclipse has the most going on outside of Bella’s view. For the movie to work, we have to see and understand some of these things.
Knowing that elements of Bree’s story were being incorporated into the movie, I hoped the story could somehow get out first. Personally, I always want to read a book before seeing the movie. I like to make my own mental pictures before someone else’s picture intrudes. Probably most of my readers don’t have the same hang-up, but for those who do, I wanted to give them the chance to create their own mental pictures of Bree and the gang."
Stupid black Volvo.

Fra everglow.
"Q: In which order would you recommend one read The Twilight Saga with the addition of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner? Should they follow Eclipse with the novella or finish Breaking Dawn before cracking the pages of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner?
A: If I were going to read the saga for the first time, I would probably read Bella’s story straight through before launching into other perspectives."
19 dager igjen!

"Q: Why did you choose the American Red Cross as your recipient charity for donations from the sale of The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner?
A: I was very moved by the outpouring of support after the disaster in Haiti. A lot of Twilight fan communities did fundraising effort, and I was so impressed by their efforts. I wanted to continue that movement. I think it’s important that we not quickly forget Haiti and Chile now that they’re no longer the focus of the media. It takes a very long time to recover from such devastation and they still need our help."

Breemania.
Uansett. Breeboka får gode kritikker:

Via Irish Twilight Sisters.
Eyes of Amber skriver i sin spoilerfrie bokomtale:
When Stephenie announced that we were going to get a book about Bree, I was less than enthused. I now take every bit of that pessimistic attitude back.
First of all, this is a new book in the Twilight saga. Holding that in your hands is an incredible high. It's been almost two years since we've had that joy and may very well be the last time. You know, unless we end up with a completed version of that other book which shall not be named."

Via Twifans.
"Secondly, it's so good to read something from Stephenie again. Something new that we haven't already read more times than we'd generally admit in mixed company. It's a chance to disappear into the world of Twilight anew, from a perspective we'venever had before. That is absolutely amazing.
One of my original hesitations about this book was the fact that it was part of a story that we already knew. Could it possibly offer anything new and interesting enough to really be worth the effort of publishing it? Was it really going to be that much of an asset to those beautiful black books resting so happily on my shelf?
It was so much more than I ever could have imagined. And yes, there was new information in there. Things I'd never have dreamed of that change the way you see everything that happened on the day of the battle. There were thrills, surprises and moments that tugged at my heart."
Les resten av bokomtalen her.
Herregud!

Uansett. Breeboka får gode kritikker:

Eyes of Amber skriver i sin spoilerfrie bokomtale:
When Stephenie announced that we were going to get a book about Bree, I was less than enthused. I now take every bit of that pessimistic attitude back.
First of all, this is a new book in the Twilight saga. Holding that in your hands is an incredible high. It's been almost two years since we've had that joy and may very well be the last time. You know, unless we end up with a completed version of that other book which shall not be named."
